In Europe, we are one of the largest thermoforming manufacturers for the fresh food sector. Thermoforming is also called vacuum forming.
Production process
In the production process, flat plastic film is heated till it becomes malleable. Then the warm plastic film is drawn vacuum and shaped into cups, trays or lids with a mould.
After this, the mould is cooled which makes the material take on a solid shape. The final step is the die-cutting and stacking of the cups, trays or lids.
